48 Hour Read-a-thon Day 2 - Short Update

Time for a short update: I finished A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson (loved it) and Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson (loved, loved, loved it!) around noon today and promptly got sucked into my next two reads (two because I almost always have a NF and fiction going at the same time) -- Time Bandit by Andy & Johnathan and Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey.

Time Bandit is my first ever Library Thing Early Reviewer book and I'm really enjoying it. I loved the Discovery programs, Deadliest Catch, and this book is kind of like a one-on-one conversation with Jonathan and Andy.

I am also thoroughly enjoying Dead Girls Are Easy. Great, fun, romantic entertainment ;>). I'm hoping to finish Time Bandit and Dead Girls Are Easy tomorrow before my 3pm deadline (I may finish them tonight, I'm not giving up yet ;>)).

Reviews will be coming, but I've decided to read for the rest of my 48 hours. So reviews will be after that :>). Hope everyone is having fun! I have to admit, I haven't visited other participant's blogs that much either -- too busy reading! But I plan to go visiting tomorrow after 3!

Hello, fellow Kristi! I'm like you, I haven't met very many people who spell their name like mine, and no one ever gets my spelling right the first time I tell them my name. It's gotten so I usually don't even bother to correct them and just let people spell it however they want. :)

Anyway, what a coincidence that two Kristis are participating in the 48-hour challenge! I remember reading and enjoying the Bill Bryson book a couple of years ago. I'll have to check back again later and see how you're doing!
