Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm desperately working on finishing a few of the 2008 challenges that I've signed up for. There's no way I'll finish all of them. I'm OK with that. I've had a lot of fun trying, but that's not going to stop me from cramming a few in here at the end of the year ;o). And what better way to get other challenges finished up than joining another challenge?! Uh...yeah...well, it makes sense in my head anyway (which, let's face it, is the only place it really matters anyway ;o)).
Enter Overdue Books' From the Stacks 2008 Challenge. The rules are simple: 1. Pick 5 books you've already purchased and have been meaning to read and read them between Nov. 1st and Jan. 30. Easy-peasy, right? Oh, yeah, and there are prizes. See Overdue Books' challenge post for this. Personally? I just want to finish a few more challenges (Not that prizes will be turned away should the occasion arise ;o)).
So here's my list:1. Have Your Seen Her? by Karen Rose to finish up the Chunkster Challenge2. Over My Head by Claudia Osborn to finish up the In Their Shoes Challenge
3. Irish Hearts by Nora Roberts to finish up the Romance Challenge
4. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card to nudge my Fall Into Reading Challenge along
5. Out of the Mist by JoAnn Ross to set myself up for finishing the What's in a Name Challenge (this one is the 1st in a series. The other 2 are listed for the What's in a Name Challege and I hate to read series books out of order.)
So, there you have it. These 5 books will knock 4-5 challenges off my list. What about you? How are you doing on the challenges you've signed up for this year (assuming you have)? Are you going to finish all of them? If not, does it bother you?

Now that is being efficient!
I completely understand your reasoning. I made a list a while ago of books that I would need to finish challenges, and then decided which ones I would really like to finish. I feel good about my progress, and my not finishing challenges definitely hasn't stopped me from signing up for new ones.
It's so much more fun to share in the madness!
