What an Animal II Book List

Been doing more reading than blogging lately ;o). But I've been making book lists, too. I have lots of books on my shelf that will fit into the What an Animal II reading challenge. Here are just a few of many I have to choose from:

Track of the Cat by Nevada Barr
Watchers by Dean Koontz (a genetically-altered dog is a main character)
Along Came a Spider by James Patterson
Desperation by Stephen King (crow, snake, and wolves on the cover)
Irish Rebel by Nora Roberts (horse on cover)
In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson (kangaroo on cover)
The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
The Lightkeepers' Menagerie: Stories of Animals at Lighthouses by Elinor De Wire
Susannah's Garden by Debbie Macomber
Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan
Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber
The Choice by Nicholas Sparks

Of these, I'll pick six to read for the challenge. I'll list them below as I read them:
1. Track of the Cat by Nevada Barr
2. Marley & Me by John Grogan
3. The Choice by Nicholas Sparks
4. Irish Rebel by Nora Roberts
5. Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
6. The Red Pony by John Steinbeck

Has anyone read any of these? Have any suggestions?

I'm delighted by the number of people who have decided to join the challenge. I promise, I'll be around to visit everyone very soon! Enjoy your books!

I've read Marley and Me. It's funny, and sad. I'm going to join up soon, working on making my own list!

Jeane - glad you'll be joining us! Can't wait to see your list.

Book Dragon - I'd say a firefly is an animal. A bug at least ;o).

I just read The Art of Racing in the Rain which is told from a dog's point of view, and I absolutely loved it!

I also read Wesley the Owl, which was really good.
