Well, the Bloggiesta ends at 8am tomorrow morning and since I will not be up by then, I'm writing my wrap-up post now ;o).
Here's what I managed to accomplish this weekend:
1. I finished writing all my outstanding reviews (there were 4 of them). They will be trickling onto the blog in the next couple of days.
2. I posted the rules for the What an Animal Challenge II. Click here to sign up.
- I organized and cleaned up my Google Reader for Rebecca at the Book Lady's Blog mini-challenge.
- I made a favicon and a gravatar so that people can recognize me for Trish from Hey Lady! Watcha Readin’?'s mini-challenge.
- I participated in GallySmith's anchor text mini-challenge. Everyone should learn to use anchor text.
- I visited many bloggiesta participants and found a few new blogs for my newly organized Reader for Jill at Fizzy Thoughts mini-challenge .
- I set up a Google Alert for my blog URL to complete the mini-challenge hosted by Emily from Emily's Reading Room. And I've already gotten one alert from it.
- I wrote an elevator pitch for the mini-challenge hosted byDeborah from Books, Movies, and Chinese Food. In 30-seconds or less, here's what Passion for the Page is all about: Passion for the Page is a platform that allows me to indulge in my compulsion to read, talk about, and promote great books of all genres.
- I submitted my blog for inclusion in BlogCatalog and the BBAW Directory to complete Lynn from Chronicle of an Infant Bibliophile's mini-challenge.
- And I graded my blog at Website Grader for Bookish Ruth's mini-challenge. Surprised to find that Passion for the Page has a grade of 91. I need to work on adding meta data to the site (as soon as I figure out how to do that ;o)).
4. I installed a twitter icon and an icon that will allow people to subscribe to Passion for the Page through a feed reader over in the right-hand sidebar.
5. I cleaned out all the dead links from my blogrolls. I still need to add links to all of the blogs hosting the challenges that I'm participating in.
6. And I've created another long list of bloggy to-dos ;o).
Total time spent Bloggiesta-ing: 20 hours
So I surpassed my goal of spending 12 hours fixing up Passion for the Page. It's amazing how long some tasks take! But I'm happy with the progress I've made. Thanks so much for hosting the Bloggista Maw Books! It's been fun and productive and I've learned a LOT!

I agree with you - its really amazing how long time some of the tasks took. I spent two hours on just one of the mini-challenges and three hours fiddling with my new template, so all the other stuff I wanted to do, well, I really didn't have much time for that. But I think it has been a great experience and I am thrilled to have met so many new-to-me bloggers!
Wow!!! good job on all that hard work.
Great blog! I am out visiting this morning some of the other Bloggiesta participants to see what their blogs look like. I like your layout and love the rose ratings!
You managed to achieve quite a lot over the weekend. I feel like I came away with a bigger list than I started with!
I'm hoping to go through the mini-challenges I missed during this week. I had a crazy weekend and couldn't do some of the longer ones.
I've loved the Bloggiesta party atmosphere. Can't wait for the next one.
You did a great job! I found this to be a super fun experience. Never thought that it would take THAT long to do all the tasks, and not even finish them!
Hey Kristi! I'm late in saying thanks for playing! I guess those mini-challenges weren't so mini after all! LOL! Great job!
