Romance Reading Challenge

Okay, this just feels like cheating ;>). Romance is my favorite genre already. But I've pulled out 5 romances out of the many I'll be reading for 2008 that I especially want to read for this challenge:

1. Rapture in Death by J.D. Robb - The next book in the "in Death" series by Nora Roberts' alter ego.
2. Irish Hearts by Nora Roberts - Of course I have to have Nora on this list, she's my fav and I'm particularly partial to her Irish books for some reason. This one's been sitting on my TBR shelf for awhile. I'm trying to work my way through her back list while still keeping up to date with her current work. No easy task! The woman is a writing animal.
3. Have You Seen Her? by Karen Rose - The next three books are from my fellow Tampa Area Romance Authors (TARA). I've picked up these three (as well as Karen's Die for Me) at signings at our meetings. I'll add more books from these talented women to my blog as I get them, so stay tuned!
4. Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey
5. Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson - This is not my normal taste in romance, but it's written by TARA's president and it's gotten RAVE reviews. How could I resist??

If you're looking for other romance recommendations, check out my 888 Challenge--you'll find a lot more romance books there ;>).

hi Kristi, great choices! I read a few of the JD Robb books myself. I agree, she is like a writing machine...lol I don't know how she does it. I always liked Nora's 'Midnight Bayou'. I'll have to check out these other authors, I havent read them.

'Midnight Bayou' is one of my favorites of hers as well, Naida. I'm looking forward to reading more in 2008, though!
