J. Kaye is hosting a challenge to support your local library. I have lots of books on my shelves, but that doesn't prevent me from going to the library at least every other week or so and getting more ;o). The beauty of the library is that all of their books are free ;o). And you can take as many as you want. I mean, honestly, who could possibly pass up a deal like this?? Certainly not I ;o).
The Support Your Local Library Challenge comes in three sizes:
** The first is to read 12 books from your local library in 2009.
** The second is to read 25 books from your local library in 2009.
** The third is to read 50 books from your local library in 2009.
You decide which one of the three challenges is best for you.
Need more info? Check out this challenge post on J. Kay's Book Blog.
I've already commited to reading 100+ books in 2009 and I've stated my intention to read 50 of my own books. So I think I'm going to go for the second choice -- 25 books from the library. That leaves me with 25 that can come from wherever ;o).
