September 2009 Wrap-Up

Books read and reviewed this month:
Islands by Anne River Siddons
Left to Die by Lisa Jackson
Crazy Hot by Tara Janzen
The Gravedigger's Daughter by Joyce Carol Oates
Chosen to Die by Lisa Jackson
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

Books read that still need to be reviewed:
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
From the Heart by Nora Roberts

Books abandoned: none

Favorite book read this month: Easy choice this month: The Graveyard Book was by far my favorite this month. Although Into Thin Air, Left to Die, and Chosen to Die were also pretty good.

Books I could have done without: I didn’t enjoy The Gravedigger’s Daughter all that much. The ending was fantastic, but there was too much rambling in the middle for my taste.

I'm not sure which you should read 1st as I haven't read any of these but they look like they will be good. You had a great reading month in September!

Eats, Shoots, and Leaves. It's a great start that will have you chuckling your way through. Who knew that punctuation could be so funny.

How do you find time for all of this reading? I'm a voracious reader, but I feel like if I did any of the challenges you do it would begin to feel like work and I'd lose the love of it.

Samantha.1020-I did have a really good month in September. Lots of interesting, good books.

GunDiva-LOL. I do read a lot. Mostly, I don't have kids and I don't watch TV. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it ;o). Thanks for the advice on Eats, Shoots & Leaves. I started it and I'm really enjoying it so far!

Thanks for stopping by!

I loved The Graveyard Book, too. I'll probably always read his books for the younger set. I love his audio narration as well.

Looks like you had a great month. I've read The Choice, and it was typical Nicholas Sparks. Not my favorite of his books, though.
