Countdown Challenge Complete

Last night I finished reading Islands by Anne River Siddons. I'll review it later, but first I had to announce that, with this book, I've finished the Countdown Challenge hosted by Michelle at 1MoreChapter. This one was a biggie -- 45 books. And I managed to review almost all of them, too! Did it by the skin of my teeth, though. The challenge ends Wednesday. A new Countdown Challenge will start on Wednesday, too. This challenge has been great for helping me clear off quite a few of my TBR books, do I'll join the new one as well.

Normally I pick my favorite and least favorite books of a challenge, but with 45 books that's not very easy. So I'll just bold some of my very favorites. But I read a lot of great books for this challenge, so if you see a title that intrigues you click on through for a review.

Thanks for hosting the challenge, Michelle! I already have a bunch of books picked out for the 9/9/09 - 10/10/10 version.
